Perhaps before, you worried about the associations of seeking help - my aim is to demonstrate here, that a lot of what I do is more about helping you develop as an individual, rather than you receiving ‘therapy’ because there is ‘something wrong with you’.
We all have our vulnerabilities and there are times when we experience difficulties that may need extra help. A feeling of being overwhelmed and stuck doesn’t make deciding where to go to find help any easier, particularly when faced with so many options and professional titles that most of us do not understand.
This section is designed to give you insight into my approach towards helping people. I don’t know how it is that you decide if someone is right for you; but I do know it is important that they are someone you feel comfortable with – if you find nothing here that makes you feel that way, it is right that you look elsewhere.
My ethos is one of enabling - enabling others to lead more comfortable lives through understanding their own emotions and behaviours with the further development of self-care. Psychotherapy is a process shaped by each practitioner and customized for each client... it takes into consideration the wider circumstances of the individual, all that their life entails and the other people within it.
In order to work effectively with you I draw upon the disciplines of Clinical hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). These are very effective methods for finding new ways to learn about and develop effective coping skills for the following examples and more:

The prevalence of 'negative' emotions such as anger, sadness, fear, guilt, grief, anxiety, loneliness and jealousy.
